This session is focused on increasing the amount of time students with disabilities are included in the general education classroom. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their current practices and some potential challenges at their school that may affect inclusion. Case studies of schools across the country will be presented to exemplify some strategies that can be used to increase the inclusion in schools. Finally, participants will leave with actionable ways that they can work start implementing more inclusive practices at their school.
