Here we will explore aspects of a course the speaker created at Southwestern University, affectionately known as the "Seinfeld of the curriculum" because it's about "nothing," but tries to teach students how to think more effectively about everything through practices of the mind honed by thinking through mindful puzzles.  The audience will be invited to try some of these mindful practices on some of these little puzzles to not only see the power of such thinking but also to discover how such practices can be folded into any class on any subject.
