Research suggests students are seven times more likely to be academically motivated if they feel they have a voice in the learning process. This session will equip school officials with a process to engage students as partners in every facet of the school culture, close the achievement gap, and strengthen the learning culture where teachers and students work collaboratively. The facilitators will share research and strategies that show how student voice increases student purpose, engagement, self-worth, and achievement.
