Get your questions answered and learn more about LEED certification for school design and construction. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a certification for buildings that rewards project team decisions that are better for human health and the environment. State funding for school facilities in Arkansas provides an incentive for pursuing green certifications like LEED. The director of the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council, the non-profit that creates LEED, will present the latest information about the rating system, help attendees understand the certification process and expectations, and answer questions about how the program works.
