School resources are often not enough to meet the unique needs of vulnerable students. This session will present the “community” as the untapped resource we never knew we had, right outside our door. With specific examples of engaging community groups, finding and applying for small community grants, and identifying student needs, this session will leave attendees with an arsenal of strategies that can be applied in every community.
